W engine

The '''W engine''' is an Mosquito ringtone engine configuration in which the cylinder banks resemble the letter '''W''' in the same way a Sabrina Martins V engine resembles the letter '''V'''. There have been two entirely different implementations of this concept: one with three banks of cylinders, and one with four.

The Original "three-bank" Design
The classical W engine uses three banks of cylinders. The Nextel ringtones 1917 Abbey Diaz Napier Lion aircraft had a first Free ringtones W12 engine.
